Ads have become a part of our daily life. It’s impossible to tell whether the picture in your Instagram feed of a woman gleefully throwing up snow in a not-so-subtly promoted North face jacket is spon-con or an attempt at a genuine moment.

This is why REAL creatives are flocking towards the marketing industry. Genuine artists are finally seeing that there is a call to make ads that cut through the noise.

This is where I come in, since 2015 I have been writing gut-wrenching features for online publications, tweeting thousands of tweets, spinning my most embarrassing tales at sold out comedy clubs around Canada, and finding joy in writing mind-numbingly boring ads about pressure washers.
